This healthy banana smoothie recipe is very easy to make and satisfies my sweet tooth without added sugar!
Today, I probably give you the easiest smoothie recipe with banana, nutmeg and cinnamon that can satisfy your sweet tooth. I don’t use any sweeteener but if you want you can add some honey-still keeping your smoothie healthy. This is the smoothie I drink when I am on a diet to stop my sweet tooh craving.
I slice and freeze the bananas before I begin to make my smoothie which helps for a thick consistency. Even if your bananas are not frozen and want to drink your smoothie immediately, you can use unfrozen bananas and give a thick consistency by adding some ice cubes at the end. I add the ice cubes anyway to drink my smoothie cold. I add cinnamon and nutmeg to taste.
First I pour the milk into my blender and add the frozen banana slices and blend for almost 30 seconds to 1 minute. Then I add in the nutmeg and ground cinnamon and blend for almost 15 seconds. Finally, I add in the ice cubes and just blend until the cubes are crushed. That’s all!

- 1 large ripe banana sliced and frozen*
- 185 g (3/4 cup) milk
- 4 pinch nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 3-5 ice cubes optional
Place the frozen banana and milk into the blender and blend for almost 30 seconds to 1 minutes until they are blended.
Add in the nutmeg and ground cinnamon and blend for almost 15 seconds until they combine well.
Add the ice cubes, just blend until the ice cubes are crushed.
If your banana is not frozen, you should add the ice cubes for a thick consistency.
