Place the flour, baking powder and salt in a  medium bowl and stir  with a whisk. Set aside  the bowl.

Combine lemon zest and sugar in a large bowl to increase the lemon flavor.  You can rub with your fingertips or use a fork or use a whisk to combine.

Add the eggs and stir with a whisk until combined.

Add the melted butter, yogurt, milk and lemon juice. Stir with a whisk.

Pour the dry ingredients over the wet mixture and gently stir with a whisk. Place the batter into a parchment paper lined loaf pan.

Let the cake stay in the loaf pan for 30 minutes.

If you like, you can make a lemon glaze by whisking powdered sugar and lemon juice. You can pour the glaze over cooled lemon loaf.
