INGREDIENTS YOU'LL NEED

Lemons (lemon juice  and zest)

Sugar

Flour

Eggs

Butter

Powdered sugar

First, make the crust: Stir the flour and sugar.  Then cut the butter into the flour mixture with a fork or simply use your fingertips.

Place the mixture into an oven proof dish and spread with a spoon. Bake for almost 25 minutes or until it is golden brown.

While the crust is baking, prepare the filling: Mix the lemon zest and sugar. Whisk in the eggs. Add the melted butter, lemon juice and flour, stir until incorporated.

Add the filling over the baked crust and bake for 12-15 minutes or until it is set but still soft.

Let it cool at room temperature for 1.5 hours. Cut into slices.

Dust with powdered sugar and enjoy!
