INGREDIENTS YOU'LL NEED
STRAWBERRY MOUSSE Strawberries Sugar Heavy Cream ALMOND OR VANILLA COOKIES Flour Butter Sugar Almond/Vanilla extract
Remove the stem of the strawberries. Let them dry on a paper towel.
While the strawberries are drying, make the shortbread cookies. Simply mix the flour, butter, sugar and almond/vanilla extract, roll the dough into balls and bake.
Once the cookies are baked, make the strawberry puree. Reserve almost 1 cup aside.
Whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form. Gently fold the strawberry puree into heavy cream.
After the strawberry mousse is ready, place the cookies in a freezer bag and crush them with a rolling pin.
Make layers with cookie crumbles, strawberry mousse and top with strawberry puree. You can sprinkle cookie crumbles on top.
