All-purpose flour     Cornstarch     Baking Soda     Salt (optional)     Unsalted butter     Light brown sugar     Granulated sugar     Egg     Vanilla Extract     Chocolate Chips  

INGREDIENTS YOU'LL NEED

Place the flour, cornstarch, baking soda and salt in a medium bowl and stir with a whisk.

Mix the melted butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar in a large bowl with a whisk.

Add the egg and stir with a whisk.  Mix in the vanilla extract.

Add the flour mixture in 2-3 batches and stir with a spatula.

Add the chocolate chips and combine evenly with a spatula.

Make 2 tablespoon big (40 grams) balls out of the dough and add extra chocolate chips.

The top of the cookies should be soft and hard to handle, but not wet. Let them cool on the baking sheet for 10 minutes.

Bake for 9 minutes or until the cookies are slightly set.
