INGREDIENTS YOU'LL NEED

Blueberries

Water

Sugar

Lemon juice

Cornstarch

Mix water and cornstarch in a small bowl.  Set aside the bowl.

Place the blueberries, sugar, water and lemon juice into a medium saucepan over medium heat and gently stir with a spoon/spatula.

As you continue to stir, the blueberries will start to release their juice and the mixture will thicken. Stir until it comes to a boil.

Once it boils, lower the heat and add the cornstarch mixture while stirring. When the sauce coats the back of a spoon and a line is visible as you run your finger, this means your mixture is thick enough. This step takes almost 2 minutes.
